I tried it out yesterday on the shop floor of a noisy plant during a sales call. <br />Normally, I would not be able to hold a conversation there but had no problem using this hearing aid (and an earplug in my other ear.) I did everything according to directions but it did nothing to improve my hearing problems. There was some hesitation about a refund but eventually I think I got my money back Live and Learn
