My husband wanted to use this amplifier when we were both watching television together and he needed the sound too high for my comfort. It works–for about 10-15 minutes, then cuts out to static.

The same thing happened in church–no good, in the middle of the sermon.

I don’t know if we just got a lemon, or if he is supposed to “wait” for the static to clear, or what, but we find it useless. Big disappointment!

Wish I could return it!

Would I like that it fit so that it lies closer to my cheek? <br />Yes. However, given the price when compared to what i paid for a professionally constructed customized hearing aid, this level of quality sound amplification is not only more than satisfactory but so much so that age 80 I would not leave home without it, in fact I am seriously thinking of buying a second one as a back-up.
